Nice story of cruise ship, the Montcalm of the Canadian Pacific, on the way from Liverpool to the Mediterranean stopping off at Gibraltar, Spain, and Madeira. Full titles read: “SHOOTING THE SUN“ L/S’s of numerous crew members of ship on the deck of a ship looking out to sea. They are all holding small telescope like devices to their eye. The story opens with a brief summary of the what is to come. There are several shots of the Gibraltar coast, Madeira, ’Spanish Flower girls and conjurers, Portuguese farmers and holiday makers on the the deck of the cruise ship playing a variety of sports. Intertitle reads: “LIVERPOOL - looks a grand place - to get away from !“ Various shots of people walking along quayside with luggage and cargo being loaded onto the ship.
