In the meantime, Politico continues its feeble attempts at proclaiming the Russian President Vladimir Putin ’the real mastermind behind the crisis.’They could be a touch more convincing if they hadn’t blamed him for everything that goes wrong in the world! According to Politico, the EU farmers fail to sell this year’s produce not because of Ukraine and its huge agricultural sector. But, it is all because Russia has grown unprecedented amounts of wheat over the past two years and sold it cheaply on the world market. In this ’scheme’ Russia was ’aided by extremely favorable weather’ (by weather and Thor, apparently).
