A Large Painting of A Wolf - Oil Painting Time Lapse

My latest painting on a 40“ x 28“ canvas involved some oil paint, some painting tools and some destruction! I am a British abstract and figurative artist living and working in Athens, Greece. I’m inspired by daily encounters especially within nature and I strive to understand subjects in a deep and profound way. Common to my work is the dominance of abstraction that surrounds my figures who stand proudly against the metaphysical background. I primarily use oils and acrylics and a variety of tools such as palette knives, rollers and sponges. My paintings are semi-realistic, with a focus on light, contrast and texture. My desire to create flows naturally where I interpret my own experiences rather than creating a perfect imitation. This process allows me to feel connected, open-minded, thankful and honest.
