This Toshiba Qosmio is a gaming laptop from 2008 that weighs 10 pounds, and the charger alone weighs 2 pounds. I’ve only ever repaired one of these in my life back in 2013, and it was one of the most intense teardowns I’ve ever had to do. With a modular GPU and CPU, this thing was a beast back in its day. Unfortunately they all suffered from the bad soldering issue that plagued the entire industry during this time, so most of them are extinct by now.
