Серия Дьёрдя Корги, созданная в 70-х годах, была основана на икебанах, на их основе были созданы принты коллекции. György Korga’s series made in the 70’s was based on ikebanas, and the prints of the collection were made based on them. In addition to the aesthetics of the paintings, the spirit of ikebana provided a lot of inspiration during the design, as it symbolizes five things such as negative space - i.e. silence -, asymmetry, balance, avoidance of intentionality and the concept of just enough. Another important theme of Korga was space and the world of the stars, we couldn’t resist two of his paintings either, they were included in the prints, and they act as if they were the starting points of ikebana compositions both aesthetically and spiritually.
