It’s fun and super easy for absolute beginners. Painting butterflies by dividing them into half moons gives you a rough sketch so that you have each side more or less even. We’re not aiming for perfection, so don’t worry too much. We are aiming here for fun and relaxation. I didn’t have a reference photo or anything. I just painted loosely with no particular idea on my mind. What you need: Watercolour palette (I use Winsor & Newton) Two jars with water to clean the brush Watercolour paper 140LBS would be ideal Round brush ( any size you like) A tape or some clips to fix the paper if you prefer.
