Will Massachusetts See A Markey-Kennedy Senate Race?

Representative Joseph Kennedy III is still considering a primary challenge to Senator Ed Markey, and a new Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll indicates that he might have a strong chance of success if he were to jump in. In a theoretical match-up between the two lawmakers, Kennedy has a 14-point lead. However, while the last midterm elections did illustrate a growing appetite among some voters for new and younger leadership, Senator Markey also comes with his own long track-record of progressive bona fides that Democratic primary voters value.
