PLÖTZLICH STEHT EIN MANN AN DER TÜRE - ein komplett eingerichtetes Hotel mit Strom 🔎 Lost Place

PALAST DER SONNE – der Name kommt nicht von ungefähr und enthüllt sich nur, wenn man das Gebäude aus der Luft betrachtet, denn sein komplettes Dach ist von Solarpanelen bedeckt. Und dann ist da noch das Bauwerk selbst, von dem jeder Quadratzentimeter seiner Fassade mit Malereien verziert ist, die in ihrer Gestaltung stark an italienische Villen und Paläste erinnern. Dafür verantwortlich: eine junge Schweizer Künstlerin, die ihre Inspiration hierfür aus der Antike aber auch aus der Natur selbst bezog. Als wir den Palast der Sonne im Winter des Jahres 2024 erkundeten waren wir uns sicher, dass wir von Zuhause aus jede Menge darüber würden recherchieren können, doch weit gefehlt. Es war früher wohl eine Art FERIENHEIM, eine Mischung aus Jugendherberge und Hotel, von dem wir glauben, dass es wieder einmal ein Opfer der Corona-Pandemie geworden ist. Durch die Panorama-Fenster sieht man bereits von außen dass es noch komplett eingerichtet ist, doch was uns dann im Inneren erwartet verschlägt uns regelrecht die Sprache! PALACE OF THE SUN - the name is no coincidence and is only revealed when you look at the building from the air, because its entire roof is covered by solar panels. And then there is the building itself, where every square centimeter of its facade is decorated with paintings that are very reminiscent of Italian villas and palaces. Responsible for this: a young Swiss artist who drew her inspiration from antiquity but also from nature itself. When we explored the Palace of the Sun in the winter of 2024, we were sure that we would be able to research a lot about it from home, but far from it. It used to be a kind of holiday home, a mixture of youth hostel and hotel, which we believe has once again become a victim of the corona pandemic.
