Making A Magic Shop of Raindrops and Starlight 💧✨ | A DIY Book Nook Kit by Anavrin

I had a lot of fun changing and customising this book nook kit to fit my interpretation of magic. The kit is officially called ‘Sorcerer’s Wand Shop’, modelled after Ollivander’s Wand Shop from Harry Potter. A huge thank you to Anavrin for sending this over for me to slowly customise in my own time (with no other financial payment or commission arrangement involved). This project took three times longer than I expected to complete and is one of the hardest and most time consuming ones I’ve done 😅. The building of the kit isn’t too difficult, the hardest part is in choosing the colours and knowing when to paint. Not all the colours ended up working as I expected once combined and I spent even more time repainting. I would say painting alone took up around 70% of the time and the remaining 30% in putting the pieces together (including making the resin raindrops). * The link to purchase this kit is here:
