Lion were a hard rock/ heavy metal band formed in 1983 in Los Angeles, California and disbanded in 1989. They managed to put out three albums in their short career. Features Kal Swan from the band Tytan on vocals, Doug Aldrich on guitars, Mark Edwards on drums and Jerry Best on bass. Doug Aldrich and Kal Swan would next form the band Bad Moon Rising and that band would last from ’90 - ’98. Mark Edwards was in a serious motocross accident in ’89 which ended his career as a drummer due to the injuries he received. Jerry Best would join the band Freak Of Nature with White Lion vocalist Mike Tramp.
