Drone footage captures devastating scene of deadly Tatarstan plane crash

Drone footage has been captured of the L-410 plane crash site where 16 people lost their lives in Russia’s Tatarstan region on Sunday, according to the Russian Ministry of Health, with a further six hospitalized in serious conditions. The aircraft was carrying 22 passengers, 20 of them parachutists, when it attempted to make a hard landing near the city of Menzelinsk, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. All L-410 flights have been temporarily suspended as Russian authorities launch a full inquiry into the crash, with an engine failure having been reported by pilots, according to Tatarstan Governor Rustam Minnikhanov.
