Autumn Leaves Guitar Lesson - Solo Fingerstyle Jazz Guitar w/TAB

Get the free tabs here ▶ An essential jazz standard, Autumn Leaves is the quintessential jazz tune which runs through all the diatonic seventh chords in the key of G major/E (harmonic) minor using the “cycle of fourths“ progression you can find in countless other songs. In this solo guitar version, I’ve kept all the seventh chords that we need for it still to sound jazzy but keeping things doable for those new to jazz guitar. This is a fingerstyle version but because we’re going back and forth between chords and the melody, you could also play this with a pick. After you see the arrangement played with tablature displayed, I run through the song measure by measure and talk about some ways you can make this tune your own.
