Filler Words in English (from an interview with Ariana Grande)

This is an edited version of an interview with Ariana Grande from the Youtube Channel ’Zach Sang Show’. The link to the original interview is: A filler word is used in oral language to make a pause and think about what you are going to say. Instead of creating an awkward silence, you use those words. In the video, the following ones appear: like (59 times), Um/er/uh/hmm (as when hesitating, 19), Mhm (as to nod, 5), So (8), Well / Yeah / Okay (12), You know -what I mean (13), I mean (5), Basically (2), I guess (2), Kind of / Or something (4) Every time Ariana or Zach utter a filler word, the written form of the word pops up in the video.
