PAJARILLO – In the style of the Venezuelan folk harp The title PAJARILLO (“Little Bird”) derives from one of the best known Venezuelan folk dances (“joropo llanero”) which is usually accompanied by several musicians playing a diatonic folk harp, “cuatro” and maracas. In this piece I used an unconventional tuning on the guitar (D#, A#, D#, G, B, E) with the intention of getting closer to the original sonority of the harp.
