Lanshan 2 tent DESTROYED - A TERRIFYING Solo Summit Camp on the Mountains of Arran

With travel restrictions finally lifted across Scotland, I was finally able to get across the sea & onto the mountains of Arran with my canine companion Coops - I’d been planning this adventure for two years! My main objective was to climb Caisteal Abhail (Corbett, 859m) via North Glen Sannox where I would spend the night solo wild camping on the summit with Coops before ascending the epic Cìr Mhòr (Corbett, 799m) & dropping down to Brodick via Glen Rosa to catch the ferry back to the celebrate my newfound freedom, I bought a Lanshan 2 & its maiden camp would be the mountains of Arran. However, gale force winds (around 35-45mph) with a chill factor of -7 degrees on the summit caused major issues before disaster ultimately struck & I was forced to make a tough decision. Note; Luckily, I had the skills required to maintain my safety on the mountains & as such I did not require the services of Arran Mountain Rescue.
