He studied in Moscow with Mikhail Khokhlov and Eliso Virsaladze. He is currently continuing his studies with Epifanio Comis in Catania, and with Arie Vardi in Hannover. From a very early age, Dmitry Shishkin won many prizes and scholarships, among them the Busoni Competition (Third Prize in 2013), Rio de Janeiro (Second Prize in 2014), Chopin in Warsaw (Sixth Prize in 2015), Queen Elisabeth in Brussels (finalist), and the Top of the World Competition in Tromsø (First Prize in 2017). In spring 2020 his solo album will be released with works by Medtner, Scriabin and Rachmaninov. Recording: eigenART events
