Dr Mahathir calls for revival of great Islamic civilisation

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Thursday spoke of the need for Muslim countries like Malaysia, Turkey and Pakistan to pool their resources to make the Islamic civilisation great again. Speaking at a joint press conference after talks with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, Dr Mahathir said the Muslim world today was in a state of turmoil with nothing really substantial being done to tackle the situation.
