This feels like an appropriate message for the doctor who created the elixir of immortality, the literal drug of time. Based on the song’s title, I thought it should tell a story. For Eirin, and for the princess who drank her elixir, the entire eternal night incident is one of its ongoing side effects, so that’s what the story is about. Eirin speaks with a stern air that lays out just how much knowledge she possesses of everything going on in the past, present, and future, truly the brain of the moon.
