My FAVORITE thing to do in Mexico City!!

There is NO shortage of things to do in CDMX and perhaps the most fun thing of all is Xochimilco!! And what exactly is Xochimilco? It is a prehispanic network of canals that used to be used for transporting goods. Now, it’s a spot for both Mexicans and tourists alike to have a good time on the colorful, flat-bottom wooden boats called trajineras. (These are similar to gondolas in Italy, although very distinct in their own ways.) It costs about 500 pesos per hour for as many people fit on the boat.
