JOSEPH PARKER (NEW ZEALAND) vs ANDY RUIZ (USA) KNOCKOUT FIGHT

So guys there we have it Joseph Parker secured the WBO World Heavyweight Title against Andy Ruiz in a very closely contested fight I have to say. I think despite the loss that fight was definitely positive for Andy Ruiz. Now guys Joseph Parker does not strike me as someone who avoids opposition. He’s fought Zhilei Zhang, an undefeated Hughie Fury, Anthony Joshua, Dilian Whyte, Derek Chisora, Deontay Wilder, Joe Joyce, and as we’ve just seen a very deceptively dangerous Andy Ruiz... as Anthony Joshua was soon to find out. Now, the only boxers he hasn’t gone up against are Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. He’s also remained extremely active in the last year, fighting 4 times. He is perhaps one of the few Heavyweights that is keeping the division interesting. With his last 2 victories over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, he has certainly reshuffled the deck and given us a thing or 2 to reconsider about the overall standings within the Heavyweight Division. Now moving forward it looks like there will be a rematch between him and Zhilei Zhang, as Zhang has sought to activate his rematch clause for a fight near the end of this year and perhaps also in China. If Parker is once more successful against Zhang... and Usyk takes all the belts in the undisputed fight against Tyson Fury, then Joseph Parker’s team may be aggressive to push for an undisputed mega-fight against Usyk.
