’I Was Illegally Imprisoned in Russia’: POW Surrendered to Get Asylum

A native of Georgia, Nodar was imprisoned in Russia, allegedly not guilty, but because of corrupt law enforcement entities in the federation, he served a sentence in the Russian prison. He used the opportunity to ’sign a contract with the army’ and leave prison to fight in the war of aggression against Ukraine. According to his words, he had not fought even for a single day and immediately surrendered.
