Mikey Prince’s Banjo

This is Mikey’s final project on the Standard Grade Craft & Design course. He built the banjo between September 2012 and March 2013. The neck is built up from 5mm layers of pine, with a purple heart finger board. The peg head has two contrasting hardwood veneers. Inexpensive worm gear guitar tuners are fitted.
