Muslims in Yemen Celebrate Prophet Mohammad’s Birthday

▶️Tens of thousands of Yemenis and Houthi supporters gather in Sana’a to mark Prophet Mohammad’s birthday, Saturday, November 9. 👉 Streets were decorated with green and white flags as well as lights several days prior to the rally. The Houthi movement celebrates religious events in huge numbers, bringing up the four year war at every celebration, in order to show the amount of support they receive from Yemenis. The war against a Saudi-led coalition that is hoping to reinstate the internationally recognized government led by Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi has killed and displaced tens of thousands and brought the country’s economy to its knees.
