On 2 September 2010 a live debate on the University of Cape Town’s admissions policy was conducted at UCT with vice-chancellor Dr Max Price, Prof Neville Alexander (Director - Project for the Study of Alternative Education in South Africa - PRAESA), Prof David Benatar (Dept of Philosophy), Archbishop Njongonkulu Ndungane (UCT Chair of Council), and Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh (Student Representative Council president).
