JUST IN: China blasts second launch within 24 hours with Kinetica-1 commercial rocket

LIFTOFF: China cranks out a second launch in less than 24 hours on September 24. CAS-SPACE’s Kinetica-1 Y4, or Lijian-1, launched 5 satellites from Jiuquan. The 5 satellites were CAS’s AIRSAT-01 & 02, Jilin-1-SAR01A, Yunyao-1-21 & 22. AIRSAT-01 & 02 are two flat-panel Ku-band SAR with 1m resolution JILIN-1-SAR01A is ChangGuang’s first SAR Yunyao-1-21 & 22 are two weather satellites with GNSS payloads. Kinetica-1 Mission Y4 is officially declared a perfect success. The mission carries five satellites Zhongke-01/02, Jilin SAR01A, and Yunyao-21/22 into orbits with high accuracy, again exceeding the standard. This brings Kinetica-1 to a 4/4 launch record.
