Thousands of people march through Sydney’s CBD for Palestine

Up to 15,000 people have marched through Sydney’s CBD for Palestine as the conflict worsens in Gaza. The demonstration was peaceful, with police confirming they had made no arrest. Members of the community gathered for their largest demonstration since the escalation of violence. The group marched from Sydney’s Town Hall to Belmont Park under the watchful eye of more than 830 police officers. Organisers worked closely with police to promote a peaceful protest, drawing attention to the plight of Palestinians and the innocent children caught up in the conflict.
