A regular character in his POLITICO cartoons is Uncle Sam, a handy and durable symbol of the U.S. government. But as he sat down not long ago to draw another Uncle Sam, Wuerker found himself wondering if a tall, skinny, old white guy is an accurate representation of America. So now he’s on a quest, with the help of his “Punchlines” video producers, to update the old icon. He wants your help.
