Chilling ’The Night House’ Clip Receives a Call From the Dead HD

August is looking pretty awesome for horror. Before we get Candyman, horror fans will enter The Night House, a supernatural horror for the arthouse crowd directed by David Bruckner (The Signal, The Ritual, V/H/S, Southbound), who is currently in production on the new Hellraiser for Spyglass and Hulu. Bloody Disgusting landed a clip from the film, out this weekend, in which Rebecca Hall stars as a grieving widow who begins to uncover her recently deceased husband’s disturbing secrets. The footage delivers instant chills when her dead husband begins texting then answers the phone when she calls.  “The Night House is a standout film… It’s moody and atmospheric, but above all, it’s scary as hell,” wrote Meagan Navarro in her review out of the Sundance premiere.
