Pir e Moghan - A Part of Maryam Akhondy’s Project of Zoroastrian Music تصنیف پیر مغان

In this musical creation she merges traditional Iranian art music and lyrics, which has to do with the old Zoroastrian religion and philosophy. First performance had been at Musica Sacra International Festival 2012 in Marktoberdorf (Germany). Location of this recording was the old chateau in the city of Füssen “Pir e Moghan“, the title of this piece of music (composed by Maryam Akhondy and arranged by Farzin Darabi Far), would mean in English “The wise man from the tavern“.
