Young skunks learn to hunt insects at WildCare

These young skunks came to WildCare as tiny nursing babies (you can see them in video on our WildCareBayArea channel). Now they’re almost grown, but we need to make sure they have the skills they’ll use to survive in the wild. Learning to pounce on insects is an important skill, so we gave our juveniles a cricket hunt. At this age, these young skunks can definitely spray and, although they are comfortable with their Foster Care Dad, they will spray anyone else who attempts to handle them. Now
