The Roads of Bakhmut

The battle for Bakhmut has been going on for more than six months. Wagner Group has been storming the city, but Ukrainian forces have not surrendered. There are only a few ways to get food, ammunition, and reinforcements into Bakhmut – and take the wounded out of the city. Meduza explains what’s happening on these “roads of life,” in English.
