State Visit to France: Arc de Triomphe

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh arrive in France for a State Visit, where they were welcomed by President Hollande at the Arc de Triomphe. At the Arc de Triomphe a ceremony took place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to commemorate the shared sacrifice of the UK and France during major conflicts. Her Majesty and the President were then escorted down the Champs-Élysées by 146 mounted members of the Republican Guard towards the Élysée Palace.
