RICHARD ACE - Stayin’ Alive - reggae dub electro disco Bee Gees 12“ single

This is the extended “limited edition“ 12“ disco 45 of Richard Ace’s reggae version of the Bee Gees mega-smash “Stayin Alive“ from Saturday Night Fever. On the Blue Inc label and dating from 1978 this is really quite a respectable take on the Gibbs brothers’ classic with some funky electro bass, groovy backing singers and Mr. Ace giving it something upfront. And it all leads into a snazzy dubfunk groove for the version. Tight and outasight.
