BRUTAL FIGHT! Golovkin against a SAMURAI that almost KILLED him in the ring...

What happens when you put Gennadiy Golovkin up against real Samurai warriors? I invite you to stay until the end, because, in this video, you’re about to find out. Gennadiy Golovkin vs. Makoto Fuchigami The first of these encounters took place more than ten years ago, on May twelfth, two thousand and twelve. On that fateful night, Gennadiy Golovkin stepped into the ring at the “Terminal” Ice Palace in Brovari, Ukraine, to face the fighter from the land of the rising sun, Makoto Fuchigami. It was supposed to be a scheduled twelve round bout, but, in order to reach its outcome, it would not even be necessary to complete a quarter of them. In it, Golovkin would be defending his International Boxing Organization middleweight title for the first time and his World Boxing Association middleweight title for the fourth time. Fuchigami, the challenger, was not the most dangerous opponent Golovkin had ever faced. The native of Akune, Kagoshima, Japan, knew the bitter taste of defeat since his debut, when, on June 2, 2014, he was defeated by technical knockout in the third round of a scheduled four-round fight by Suzuki Norifumi. His samurai fighting spirit, however, was one aspect Golovkin had to watch out for. Golovkin entered the ring with an unblemished undefeated professional record of twenty-two wins, twenty-two of those by knockout. BRUTAL FIGHT!
