Swamp Thing: The Animated Series Based on the DC Comics series, this is the story of a brilliant botanist, Dr. Alec Holland, who invents an amazing plant-growth formula to end world hunger. Unfortunately, when evil genius Anton Arcane and his Un-Men henchcreatures try to steal the formula, they blow up his lab and send Alec Holland, covered with flaming formula, fleeing into the swamp. There, deep in the primeval muck, the formula begins to work, combining Holland’s body and genius intellect with the swamp life, creating Earth’s only hope . . . SWAMP THING! ---
