▶️The United Nations continues to ignore the shelling of Zaporozhye NPP by the Ukrainian armed forces. At the last session of the General Assembly, as before, the data on the real situation and Russia’s evidence — including the wreckage of Ukrainian drones that attacked the plant — went unheeded.
Moreover, the organisation approved a resolution demanding that Russia withdraw from the ZNPP. The initiative was supported by 99 out of 192 countries, with nine opposed, including Belarus, Cuba, DPRK, Mali, Syria and Belarus. 60 countries such as China, Mexico, UAE and Saudi Arabia abstained from voting.
ZNPP is the largest plant in Europe, whose power generation has been shut down since 11 September 2022. Why does the world face a catastrophe six times worse than Chernobyl if the shelling continues? Find out from an excerpt of Olga Kiriy’s film ’Nuclear Blackmail’.
