An animation I did for AZ Russian Children’s Center 2013 New Year’s Festival “New Year’s Karlson.“ In the play, Malysh, an 8 year old boy, is left alone at home while his parents go to look for a New Year’s tree. In boredom, he decides to draw and make everything his favorite color - orange. He then describes how one of his parents’ friends tells him that everything being orange is impossible, so he redraws his picture in real colors.
