Analyzing footage of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie

Brian Laundrie seems like a nice polite guy and the police quickly warmed to him after pulling him over when they’d had a call about him hitting Gabby Petito. They decided Gabby was having mental health issues. After all, Brian was the victim here and Gabby, the perpetrator. Right? Why did the police get this so wrong? And what can Gabby and Brian’s behaviour that day teach us about abusive relationships? I have done extensive research on narcissism and the effects of narcissistic abuse.
