Bloodborne PS1 Demake: Flamesprayer & Central Yharnam WIP

Flamesprayer is in! Like in the PS4 original, holding the fire button will project fire particles in front of the player, burning up any enemy that’s caught in the flames! It also tanks the framerate to keep that PS1 authenticity. Also, the first 2 levels of Central Yharnam have been created, although they are still work in progress. The Yharnamite enemy type is still being worked on and will probably be a little while before they are finished as there are many different types of Yharnamite, each with their own unique weapon and animation set. The conversation with Gilbert is also present, but only with audio for the first few lines. As audio took up a lot of space, unique VO was kept to a minimum on PS1 games. The only reason Metal Gear Solid was 2 discs long was because it was fully voice acted! It’s one of the few PS1 games to pull it off, and that’s not something that is a focus for Bloodborne so I decided not to go in that direction.
