Ferrari Daytona Competizione 365GTB4/C - Ferrari’s 1-2-3-4-5 finish at Le Mans

Ferrari has a long history of victory on the race track, with legendary cars such as the Ferrari 250 GTO, 250 Testa Rossa, and many others. The Ferrari 365GTB4C or more commonly known as the Comp Daytona is one of the Prancing Horses legendary and dominating race cars, winning races for years after first rolling out of the Factory. The unofficial Daytona name was given to the car by the media to commemorate Ferrari’s 1-2-3 victory at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona with prototypes 330 P3/4, 330 P4 and 412 P. There were only a few Factory original Comp Daytonas produced. 1 prototype car first driven by Chinetti, then 15 more varying from alloy to steel bodied race cars. There were also 8 conversions done in the 1970’s that raced in period. These original cars sell today for many millions of dollars, and because of this many people have converted street Daytona’s into the competition version.
