The Process of #Mono Silkscreening - How to Create Unique Prints using Screen Printing Technique

Here is my screen print monoprint project. This is a type of printing that can make unique prints by printing in multiple layers. You can paint OR draw on the silkscreen, using screen printing ink, watercolor, gouache, water-soluble Caran D’Ache, and chalk pastels to create images that are unique (cannot be editioned). ---- Materials--- Paper: BFK Rives Printmaking Paper - 22“ x 30“, White, 250 gsm, Single Sheet Metal framed screen (Silkscreen) Squeegee Hinge clamps/board Repositionable spray mount Speedball water-based screen print poster inks: yellow, red, process magenta, blue, black, white. Transparent base (size 16 oz.) Drawing fluid and screen filler. Brushes Plastic packing tape (2” wide) Rubber cooking spatula ---- Thanks for watching my video.
