Russian Lancet Drones Strike Two Parked Ukrainian MiG-29s And Pose “Biggest Threat“ To Artillery
Extensive use of drones from both sides in the war in Ukraine has become symbolic of the dawn of the modernX warfare. Just a week after a Russian Lancet-3 loitering munition destroyed a parked Ukrainian fighter jet, another Mig-29 has been hit by a UAV. Thermal imaging video shows a Russian Lancet-3 drone dropping an explosive on a Ukrainian MiG-29 jet at the Dolgintsevo airfield near Kryvyi Rih. The Russian drone reportedly struck the Ukrainian MiG-29, nearly 80 km away from the nearest Russian position. Kyiv’s soldiers fighting on the Donetsk region frontline acknowledge Russian drones are the biggest fear of Ukraine’s artillery.
