The second version of the Broadcaster and the precursor to the Telecaster, the Fender “Nocaster” was released for a short period in 1951 due to a naming issue involving Fender and Gretsch. Available in 2-Color Sunburst or Blackguard Blonde, this updated classic features a maple neck with a thick “U” profile, a radiused maple fingerboard with 21 vintage tall frets, ’50s-style single-coil Tele pickups, and a vintage-style Tele bridge with brass saddles.
