Get it here: 112 is a fabulously positive-sounding helping of feel-good trance and is also London-based DJ, producer and drummer Scott Cameron’s debut on Pure Trance. Scott packs a whole packet of hooks into this 128bpm excursion, with breakbeat chunks, fuzzy pike hits, guitar licks, phat bass stabs, plenty of melody and a blistering drop. There’s an interesting back-story to the title ‘112’ from a few years ago when Scott moved from the UK to Portugal. One night, his studio set on fire (due to a faulty air-con unit). While the flames were licking under the door, he realized he didn’t know the number for the emergency services… which is indeed ‘112’… Perhaps this track is dedicated to the memory of his Virus Ti, Nord Stage & Moog synthesizers?
