USA vs. Cuba Играют в Японии (Tokyo, Japan)

Team USA battled Cuba in the championship game of the World University Baseball Championships held in Tokyo, Japan on August 7, 2010. USA ultimately fell to the Cuban team. UCLA junior Gerritt Cole traded zeros with Cuba’s starter Miguel Gonzalez. Both pitchers were humming it up to 95-98 MPH in a ridiculous matchup. Gonzalez, who would go top five in the draft if eligible, finished with 14 strikeouts. The big highlight for the US was a solo shot by Andrew Maggi in the top of the 8th inning.
