Silicone Painting Tutorial: Painting With PlatSil Gel-10

Get our silicone painting kit here: In this tutorial we show how to create a paint base with Gel-10 for creating realistic paint jobs on props, animatronic skins, prosthetics, and masks. We used Gel-10 diluted 50% with Sculpt Nouveau’s Solvent Thinner. This method also works with Naptha. Be sure to work in a well ventilated area when painting with solvents. It is also good practice to wear an organic filter mask.
