Sea Fishing at Skinningrove in a Honda Honwave T40 & Suzuki 6HP Outboard Motor. We managed a fishing trip to Skinningrove on September 2017. It was my first trip this year to Skinningrove. We took my new Honda Honwave T40 inflatable boat and the Suzuki DF6A 6HP 4 stroke outboard motor. It’s the first time we’d used the Suzuki DF6A on the Honda Honwave T40 so we were keen to see how well it would perform. We headed out about half a mile and managed a few Mackerel and Whiting then headed a bit further out. About an hour in I caught a Pollack of about 4lb, not massive but a welcome addition to the catch tally. Next was a first for me, I caught a squid of about 10 inches in length. It’s the first squid I’ve ever caught on a hook. As the day progressed my wife and I managed to catch plenty of fish. Most were returned due to size and a couple taken home for the plate.
