Hal McGee Whamola noise demo improv electric upright bass with Moog effects

Here is a short video of me playing my newest music/noise instrument, a Whamola, built by Idahoan Joe Hensley. A whamola is a electric one string upright bass equipped with a Precision Bass pickup and a pulley and lever to change the tension of the string and its pitch. I demonstrate the whamola using a Moog MF-107 FreqBox, Sovtek Big Muff Pi Distortion and Moog MF-104Z Analog Delay. This video is in no way indicative of the way most people would play a whamola. It is indicative of the way I play a whamola. I will be using it in improvisational noise performances.
