We’ll be celebrating the music and tragically short life of the glam rock singer, Marc Bolan, during September and at almost 46 years to the day that he sadly passed away. The brand new documentary ANGELHEADED HIPSTER will get a very special one-off screening on the 14th September to launch our week, and then we’ll be screening from its UK release date the new film, BOLAN’S SHOES, starring Timothy Spall. Then to add to the proceedings we have the classic T. Rex concert film, BORN TO BOOGIE, directed by Beatle, Ringo Starr, and also starring Elton John. To round things off we have 25th Anniversary screenings of VELVET GOLDMINE starring Christian Bale, Ewan McGregor, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Toni Collete, which features the music of T. Rex and covers the glam rock period.
