Vasily Rozhdestvensky (1884-1963)

Vasily Vasilievich Rozhdestvensky (1884-1963) was a Russian, Soviet painter and graphic artist. He regularly worked in the Moscow region. He painted landscapes, portraits, still lifes; in the late 1910s - early 1920s he was engaged in poster painting. He went through a passion for impressionism, post-impressionism, Cubism; in the 1920s he turned to a realistic manner. The works are in many museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Tula Regional Art Museum, the I. V.
